Jan Gale is a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of experience specialising in areas such as sexual health, contraception, and cervical screening.

As the first Australian nurse to train as a therapeutic and diagnostic nurse colposcopist, Jan completed her specialised training with the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology in 2019, marking a pioneering achievement in women’s healthcare in Australia. 

At Elysian Women’s Health, Jan plays an integral role in our Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Clinic, where her compassionate approach and clinical expertise have a significant impact on patient wellbeing. Jan also contributes to colposcopy services at Gold Coast University Hospital, where her work has helped reduce wait times and improve patient outcomes.

Outside work, Jan’s favourite things include her family & friends, gardening (flowers, not weeds), miniature cows, and home renovation/decorating.
